Happy Father's Day 2013

Happy Father's Day to one AMAZING father & husband! We couldn't be more blessed and I am so thankful for our family!!! Thank you for supporting us, loving us and holding us together!

After getting back into town this morning the girls were excited to give Daddy their gifts!

The girls each gave Daddy a handmade tie!
More details on this Tie Craft here

Then they gave him a frame with each of them with a saying attached "I try so hard to walk in your shoes"...

Not sure who was more excited about opening gifts....

The spatula is hand stamped "We flippin love you (heart) Reese, Emma & Scarlett"

The girls had one more present to give Daddy...

Reese was proud of the pink & purple Hot Wheels she picked out!

He got a road map t-shirt so he can lay on the floor and get a "Hot Wheels Back Massage" from the girls!
Etsy seller: The Blue Basket Shop

Finally, I pulled out my gift that was in hiding....

Big smiles for his floor burner for brewing beer!

In the afternoon we had some friends over for a relaxing outdoor BBQ dinner ... and it was DELISH! We had ribs, sausage, mashed potatoes, Gruene beans, rolls, deviled eggs, homemade banana pudding, brownies, pound cake, & melt-aways!!! I think all the dads really enjoyed the evening and yummy food!

And Daddy got that back massage!

Father's Day Tie Craft

The girls had a lot of fun making Daddy ties for Father's Day! I think they are so cute and will be precious keepsakes throughout the years!

To download the free tie worksheet click here.

1. Before nap the girls colored them with Do A Dot Art Markers
2. During nap I cut out all the pieces
3. After nap they each glued the pieces onto the tie
4. I laminated the ties and cut them out

I think it is neat to see how each girl has their own personality and artistic features. Reese was so meticulous about having her stripes match up and fit perfectly onto the tie. Emma made sure she used every accessory and Scarlett was just happy with the markers :)

I really think Cody enjoyed this Father's Day craft!

Happy Father's Day 2012

Sunday was Father's Day and we tried our best to make it perfect for Cody! We started off with a breakfast room service order...
scrambled eggs, biscuits & gravy, bacon, OJ, & coffee with mocha
Someone must be a great father!

Then the girls snuggled with Daddy while he opened their cards...

Reese gave him a princess card & Emma gave him an iDad card (like the iPad she always plays with)

Scarlett has her's ready!

Reese was so proud of her gift!

Emma's gift was adorable with the help of her school teacher!

Emma also gave Daddy an iPhone case with a built in bottle opener

Mommy gave him 2 different IPA beer brewing kits and some 12oz bottles

Scarlett gave Daddy a new shirt "Daddy needs a beer"

Happy Father's Day to the most AMAZING father one could hope for for their children!

To finish it off we worked hard on a yummy dessert....
Cupcake Burgers and Sugar Cookie Fries

We all love you Cody!!! Happy Father's Day!!!
