Reese Giggling

Reese has been spontaneously giggling in her sleep for several days now. I was finally able to catch it on camera. Please excuse the filming... it was with my digital camera, not a video camera.

Two Weeks Old

Yesterday Reese turned two weeks old!! It is already flying by. We went to the pediatrician for a check up and she is growing great!! She now weighs 7# 12oz and is 19.75 inches long! She gained more than a pound since birth already! We are still juggling the night time routine, but it seems to be getting a bit better. She sleeps great in the day and wants to be awake all night...I guess she got that from my night shift work ;o) Reese goes back in 2 more weeks for her 1 month check up, where she will be getting her 1st set of vaccines.

39 Weeks!!

Get ready everyone...Reese is coming out this week!! We are getting induced Thursday night (if I make it that long)!! I have started having some pretty good contractions, especially at night. I hadn't gained any more weight at my last appointment, making a grand total of 27 pounds gained so far. She is definately running out of room :o)

During Week 39: Her weight gain has slowed down or even stopped at this point. She should be over 7 pounds now. Her brain is still developing at rapid pace. She should start dropping into the pelvis to get ready for delivery.
