I felt really bad for being able to take Emma to her appointment today but Cody took good care of her ;)
Weight: 19lbs 14oz (30%)
Length: 30" (78%)
Head Circumference: 47.5cm (97%)
She got 4 shots (including the flu shot) and a finger prick. Emma's iron was low at her last appointment and even lower today (even with her huge appetite) so she now gets iron twice a day for 3 months. Apparently, while she was being examined she wouldn't stop coughing and the pediatrician heard a lot of wheezing. So Emma was sent home with steroids x 5 days and breathing treatments. If she isn't better by Monday, she has to go back for further work up. She thinks it could be viral (but Emma has no signs of fever) or the start of asthma. Ugh, lets hope our baby doesn't have asthma!

Just found your blog! This is Caitlin from the bum ;) Eva may have asthma too, we have had a lot of issues with sicknesses and breathing. It stinks. I hope Emma doesnt have the same issues.
Hi Caitlin! This is now day 5 of steroids/inhaler and day 4 of fever...ugh! She said if we have another separate episode of wheezing in the future we will start a daily preventative for asthma.
